How do you make money?

Do you review apps you haven’t actually tested?
No. If an entry doesn’t have a dated review with our reviewer’s byline, we haven’t published it yet.
Why does a highly-rated app still have a “Cons” section?
Because nothing gets a perfect, uncritical writeup — even our top picks have trade-offs, and we think listing them is more useful than pretending they don’t exist.
I think a review is inaccurate or out of date. What do I do?

Can an app pay to be listed or to get a higher score?
No. Commercial terms with a partner are negotiated after a review is scored, never before, and never change an existing score.
